Raloid 30" Contour O.D. Grinder

The Raloid 30" Contour O.D. Grinder was developed to accurately grind the outside diameter of medium and heavy truck segments and small to medium block parts.

Standard straight or taper grinding operations (CAM & Anchor) are possible with Raloid’s custom drum and straight or eccentric throws for the customer finishing grinding specifications.

The machine is equipped with “X” axis and “Y” axis manual movement of the precision spindle and slide assembly for total flexibility of material removal as well as even wheel wear using the complete face of the grinding wheel.

The spindle assembly is a precision machine tool quality spindle assembly mounted on a precision dovetail slide assembly. The precision slide is fully adjustable in micrometer readout in thousands of an inch.
